Frequently Asked Questions
Dermaelio lists only CE-marked devices and prints the CE symbol, batch/lot number and expiry date on every box. These identifiers allow end-to-end traceability in line with EU MDR requirements. A scannable QR code links directly to the manufacturer’s declaration of conformity, so clinicians can verify origin before use.
Injectable fillers are classified as implantable Class III medical devices in the EU, meaning they must be handled by qualified healthcare professionals. Dermaelio therefore activates accounts only after validating a medical licence, pharmacy certificate or professional VAT number, and keeps that documentation on file for future audits.
Orders placed before 15:00 CET ship the same day. Within the EU, Standard service reaches most clinics in 3–5 working days, while Express couriers deliver to major cities in 24–48 hours. For non-EU destinations, transit typically takes 4–8 days, depending on customs clearance.
Fillers that must stay between 2 °C and 8 °C are packed in insulated cartons with gel packs and temperature indicators. Dry-ice shippers are used when a sub-zero lane is required. Dermaelio employees monitor lane performance data so the cold chain remains unbroken until delivery.
Standard EU shipping is free on all orders over €250. Express and non-EU lanes incur a small surcharge that’s shown at checkout. Any import duties, VAT or brokerage fees assessed by non-EU authorities are the recipient’s responsibility, which is standard industry practice.
In line with EU consumer-protection rules, you may cancel or return unused, unopened goods within 14 calendar days of receipt. Dermaelio issues a full refund (minus return postage) once the items pass inspection. Temperature-controlled items that have left the cold chain cannot be accepted back for safety reasons.
Dermaelio guarantees that every vial or syringe ships with at least three months of remaining shelf life. Store products in a dark, dry place at 2–25 °C unless the label specifies refrigeration; chilled products must go straight into a medical fridge at 2–8 °C. Always check the batch number and expiry date before injection.
