information

STYLAGE Lips Bi-SOFT Lidocaine carries 18.5 mg/ml of non-animal HA, woven into a flexible lattice by Vivacy’s IPN-like cross-linking. A dash of 9 mg/ml mannitol mops up free radicals stirred up by the needle, so swelling drops by about 30 %. Lidocaine 0.3 % spreads evenly through the gel, cutting sting nearly in half while keeping the pH skin-friendly (≈ 7). Lab tests show BDDE below 2 ppm and endotoxin under 0.5 EU/ml, well inside EU limits.

The gel’s gentle firmness (G′ ≈ 45 Pa) lets it hug the lip’s curves yet move naturally when you talk or smile. Average particle size—about 200 µm—slides through a 30-gauge needle but stays put once placed. Vivacy’s pastel-grip Bi-SOFT syringe lowers push force by roughly a third, so you can lay precise 0.02 ml pearls along the white roll without wrist strain.

Bottom line: plenty of HA for plushness, antioxidant mannitol for calm lips, and lidocaine for a relaxed session.

This filler is for subtle, believable lips, not the “duck” look. It is perfect for clients with gentle volume loss, blurred borders, smokers’ lines or chronically dry lips that swallow lipstick. Its low swell factor also keeps darker skin tones from looking puffy.

A common plan:

1. Tiny micro-boluses (0.02 ml) along the wet-dry junction for body.
2. Light threads up the philtral columns for Cupid’s-bow definition.
3. Superficial cross-hatching to blur fine vertical lines.

Severe vermilion inversion, deep smokers’ creases, or a weak bony base may need extra help first—botulinum toxin for gummy smile or a firmer filler for structure. Compared with Juvederm Volbella, Stylage delivers crisper edges and less day-two swelling; compared with Restylane Kysse, it swaps a touch of firmness for an even softer feel.

Treatment is deferred in cases of active herpes, pregnancy, autoimmune flare, anticoagulant therapy, or lidocaine allergy. Thanks to mannitol and the gel’s clean profile, delayed nodules are extremely rare (below 0.1 % in studies).

• One pastel-pink 1 ml Bi-SOFT syringe pre-filled with STYLAGE Lips
• Two EO-sterilised 30 G ½″ needles, colour-coded for quick ID
• Two peel-off lot and expiry stickers for records
• A multilingual leaflet covering storage (2–25 °C), recommended planes and hyaluronidase reversal (10 IU per 0.1 ml)

All parts are latex-free and ISO-tested, packed in an FSC-certified carton. Shelf life unopened is 24 months; discard any remainder after first use.

Initial fullness settles by week one. Ultrasound data on sister batches show about 75 % of volume still present at six months and roughly 45 % at nine. Upper-lip definition often holds to month 9; lower-lip bulk may need a polish at month 6–7. Smokers, sun lovers and high-metabolism athletes may need earlier touch-ups, while desk-job clients sometimes keep shape to month 12. Should correction be required, standard hyaluronidase doses melt the gel quickly.

Q1: Will my lips feel stiff or lumpy?
A1: No. The soft lattice flexes with speech and kissing; most people forget it is there after a week.

Q2: How soon can I wear lipstick?
A2: About six hours, once the tiny puncture points have sealed. Avoid vigorous rubbing for 24 hours.

Q3: Does mannitol also cut bruising?
A3: Mannitol mainly reduces swelling. Bruising depends on vessel injury, so ice and arnica still help.

STYLAGE is produced by Laboratoires Vivacy in Archamps, France. The ISO 13485 plant runs on renewable hydro-power and tests each batch for molecular weight, BDDE, endotoxin and rheology before the CE-0459 stamp. Vivacy plans carbon-neutral operations by 2030 and aims for 60 % recycled packaging by 2026. With six filler viscosities plus a lip-specific line, Stylage supplies clinics in over 80 countries and maintains an adverse-event rate below 0.2 %, reassuring both practitioners and patients.
